Directions & Check In Instructions:

  • Check-in begins at 4:00 pm

We have all of our cottage guests arrive and check in at the Grand View Cafe & RV Campground Office, where you will pay and receive directions to your reserved cottage.

If you first arrive at the Tundra Rose property, you will not find staff to assist you with checking in, however, our cheerful staff will be awaiting your arrival at the Grand View!

  • If your arrival date is between May 21 and Sept. 12:
    Drive to the Grand View Cafe & RV Campground and enter the main log building, where you will Check-In at the counter. There you will pay and receive directions to your cottage.

  • Late arrivals after 9:30 pm are asked to come directly to the Tundra Rose Guest Cottage property. Upon entering the driveway, there will be a large mosaic sign with a mailbox attached to the post. In the mailbox, you will find Self Check-In directions to your cottage. Your credit card on file will be charged.

  • If your arrival date is between September 13th and September 20th, the Grand View will have closed for the Season.
    Drive to the Tundra Rose Guest Cottage property. Upon entering the driveway, there will be a large mosaic sign with a mailbox. You will find an envelope with your cottage directions. Your credit card on file will be charged.

Driving Directions:

Travel the Glenn Highway (Route 1) to the Grand View Cafe at Milepost 109.7 or the Tundra Rose Guest Cottages at Milepost 109.5.

Leaving Anchorage: Travel the Glenn Highway NE towards Palmer and then keep travelling toward Glennallen. We are 109 miles from Anchorage. Watch for highway signs stating our business name. We are located to the south side of the highway, so turn RIGHT into the entrance. The Tundra Rose will be before the Grand View.

Leaving Glennallen: Travel the Glenn Highway SW towards Palmer and Anchorage. We are approximately 80 miles from Glennallen. Watch the highway signs before the park entrance. We are located to the south side of the highway, so turn LEFT into the park entrance. The Grand View will be before the Tundra Rose.
